Review: Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a great week! Today I wanted to share a review on the Kat Von D liquid lipsticks. I have two colors (Berlin and Lolita). Lolita is quite possibly one of the most talked about lip products in the beauty world (and is almost always sold out…FYI, It’s in stock on Sephora.com right now!)

Before I get into the review, I will tell you that I LOVE these liquid lipsticks! Keep on reading to find out why 🙂

Pigmentation: The color payoff on these is amazing. As you can see in the swatch below, just one swipe gives you full color! There is a large selection of colors, something for everyone!

Lasting power: Not exaggerating, these last ALL DAY. I wore Lolita to a Christmas party this year and it didn’t even budge for over 10 hours, even through lots of eating and drinking.

Formula: These come out as a liquid (obviously!), and they dry on the lips within 30-60 seconds. Once these dry, they are matte on the lips. They can sometimes feel a little bit drying, so I found that if I put lip balm on beforehand, it helps with that. However, these are not at all uncomfortable to wear.

Wearing Berlin:

Where to buy: These are found at Sephora (in store and online) or at katvondbeauty.com. They retail for $20. It is a bit pricey, but for the lasting power, it is so worth it to me! (note: my Berlin is a smaller size because it came in a gift set duo around Christmas time. Similar one here)

Conclusion: Is this worth the hype?? In my mind, YES! Even though they are a tad pricey, if you find one or two colors you love, thats all you need and they will be so worth it! There is no reapplying or retouching throughout they day. Once it’s on, you know you are good to go for several hours!

Have you tried any of these yet? If so, let me know what color you love, so I can try out some more!
