November Boxycharm

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend, whether you were celebrating Thanksgiving, or doing some Black Friday shopping!! Today I am going to share what came in my November Boxycharm. The theme this month is “Beauty Par-Tea” and I’m pretty happy with everything I got!

Luxie Rose Gold Concealer Eye Brush – Full size – $12 – This is a pretty nice brush to have. It works well for under eye concealer, and I think it may also be useful for eyeshadow.

Manna Kadar’s Liplocked Priming Gloss Stain – Full size – $24 – This is a very pretty color, especially for this time of  year. I have not worn this yet, so I don’t know how well it works as far as a stain.

Pur~Lisse Pur~Eye Adore Quadra Benefit Eye Serum – Full size – $65 – First off, this is very expensive for an eye serum, so I am excited to try it out!

StudioMakeup Soft Blend Blush Sahara – Full size – $17 – This is a very pretty color, kind of goes well with the lip gloss stain. It is well pigmented and gives the perfect rosy flush!

Coolway Leavin-in Treatment – Full size – $19.95 – I have not used this yet, but I have always enjoyed the products I get from Coolway!

Overall, the total of this box is $137.95! Quite a good deal for only $21! If you haven’t tried Boxycharm yet, it is $21/month and you get 4-5 full size products! Check it out (here) if interested!

Thanks for stopping by!

November Ipsy Bag

Hi everyone! I hope all of my American friends had a wonderful Thanksgiving…I know I did! It was great to spend time with my family and of course, eat some yummy food! Today I want to show you all what I got in my November Ipsy bag “Beauty Blast”.

Coolway Stronghold Spray – This is a great hairspray to have for travel or for your purse. I haven’t used it much yet, but I know it will come in handy on the go!

Mai Couture Blush Paper – Ok, I have to admit this is kind of strange/interesting. I haven’t used it yet, but its supposed to be an easy, on the go way to apply blush. It comes as a sheet of paper and you are supposed to apply the sheet directly to your cheeks. Not sure how I feel about this! (Let me know if you have tried this)

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara – I have tried this mascara before as a sample, and it was a pretty good mascara. I won’t be opening it just yet, because I have other mascaras I am currently using, but it’s a good one for travel!

tre’StiQue Matte Lip Crayon – I actually really like this! It is a beautiful matte shade of red that it perfect for the current holiday season!

Lucie Beauty Eyeshadow Pan in No. 290 – This is a matte dark brown, and I like it pretty well! It is decently pigmented but doesn’t always blend as smoothly as I would like. But it is a pretty color, and I will continue to work with it!

Overall, this month was 50/50 for me. I will try everything out in the next few weeks and see what I like!

Let me know what you were most excited about in your bag this month!

One Vest, Three Ways

Hi everyone! Happy hump day! Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I can’t wait to stuff my belly 🙂 Today I am sharing you with you one of my favorite things to wear in the fall, which is a vest, and probably will be something I wear tomorrow for the holiday. If there’s one thing I can’t stand, its being too warm in a room full of family. So I like to dress in layers, with comfy pieces that are great for a day of eating and relaxing! So I was inspired to share three different ways to wear one vest. From outdoorsy, to cute/casual, to a little bit dressier, there is a look for you! Enjoy 🙂

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving 🙂

Sephora VIB Haul

Well, I was a little bit naughty during the Sephora VIB sale. Even though the sale is over, I still wanted to share what I picked up because I think they are great products, and I got some fun new things to try!

NARS Audacious Lipstick in ‘Anna’

I finally caved, but I knew this was the perfect time to get one since I got 20% (and they are a bit pricey!). I am so happy with it! I’ve worn it a couple of times now and it is just so creamy and smooth, and lasts a long time too!

NARS blush in ‘Sin’

I have been lusting after this color for probably a year or more. Most of my blushes are pinks/colors, and I love how different this one is! I think it is perfect for fall/winter.

Kat Von D Liquid Lipstick in ‘Bow n Arrow’

This is another color I have been wanting FOREVER. It has been sold out pretty much since the day it was released. I had about 30 seconds when it was finally in stock, so I knew I had to jump on it! But it is just the perfect nude color and these are my favorite liquid lipsticks!

Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow in ‘Doce’

This was kind of a surprise purchase for me. I have been looking for a few months now for the perfect ‘pumpkin spice’ color, and I finally found it! I have never tried these eyeshadows, but after I swatched it, I knew I had to have it! So pretty for fall!

Jack Black ‘It’s the Balm’ Lip Quartet

I think this might be a men’s brand, but I tried a sample size of this recently and fell in love! So when I saw that there was a gift set, I decided to pick it up! There are four different flavors, so I’m excited to try the different ones. This formula just leaves my lips feeling so soft and smooth!

GLAMGLOW Poutmud Fizzy Lip Exfoliating Treatment and Wet Lip Balm Treatment Duo

I was so intrigued by this and saw some other bloggers/youtubers talk about this, so I decided to try it. You get two ‘balls’ and one is the exfoliating treatment and the other is the lip balm. I’ve used it once and it really made my lips feel so good. My lips tend to get so dry and flaky, especially this time of year, so this is great! I probably wouldn’t have bought this if I didn’t have the 20% off, so I’m glad I got it when I did!

This is another product that I received a sample of and loved! I already love  GLAMGLOW’s masks, and now I wanted to try the cleanser. Again it’s a bit pricey (like most of these things), but I figured now is the time with 20% off. I’ve only used it once, but so far I like it!

Elizabeth and James ‘Nirvana Black’ Mini Rollerball

I have the ‘Nirvana White’ that I got as a point perk a while back, and I love it. I decided I needed this one too! They are both distinctly different, but so good! This one is perfect for fall/winter! I decided I only needed the rollerball since I never go through full bottles, and its a great way to try something new!

Ok guys, that is everything! I know it looks like a lot (yes, I have a problem, you don’t need to tell me!). But I couldn’t NOT get these things when I had 20% off! RIGHT?!? 😉

Thanks for stopping by! Let me know if you’ve tried any of these, or something fun that you picked up in the sale!

First Impression: Younique Fiber Lash Mascara

Hi everyone! Today I am sharing a first impression of a new mascara with you! This has been around for a little while now, and I am probably the last person to jump on board! What I’m talking about is the Younique Moonstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+.

What it is: A two product system that contains a setting gel, and 3D fibers that are supposed to increase lash volume. You get one tube of the transplanting gel, and a tube of the fibers.

the transplanting gel

the 3D fibers

How to apply: This comes with a little instruction sheet, but basically you first apply a coat of the transplanting gel to your lashes, and then before it dries, apply the fibers. Then go in with the transplanting gel again to lock everything in to place.

on your left: Younique 3D Fiber || on your right: regular mascara

After two coats on both eyes

My thoughts: This was the first time I tried this, and so far I am impressed with the results. I ended up applying two coats, which did give more volume than just one coat, but can tend to look a little clumpy depending on how much of the fibers you apply. But I think compared to regular mascara alone, this does give better results! One downfall (which I can get over), is that a few of the fibers got in my eyes, but easily came out without bothering or irritating my eyes. I will definitely have to experiment with this more!

Let me know if you have tried this product and what you think of it! Also if you have any suggestions on using this!

Fall Flannels

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine was so nice and relaxing, and the best part is the weather we’ve been having! Where I live, November is usually freezing cold, rainy, or snowy. But this weekend was absolutely beautiful. The sun was shining, and the temps were high 50’s to low 60’s (F). So today I am sharing one of my favorite outfits to wear on a casual fall day!

A comfy plaid or flannel top has been my obsession lately! They are just so easy to throw on with some leggings or jeans, and you can wear boots or slip on sneakers like the ones I am wearing. Wear it alone or throw on a vest and maybe a hat and scarf! There are just so many possibilities for flannel outfits! To me, this is just cute, but comfy at the same time!

New Favorite Liquid Lipstick!

Happy Friday everyone! Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?? I have the whole weekend free from work, with no plans yet! To cap of this week, I want to share my new found love for Stila’s Liquid Lipstick in ‘Patina’. I have never tried this formula, but have been really wanting the perfect dusty rose/mauve color. I heard a lot of great things about Stila’s liquid lipsticks, so when I had 20% off at Ulta, I decided to cave and get this! And I am so glad I did! This literally lasts ALL DAY, and is not too drying. Now, it does have a little bit of dryness, especially later in the day, but I found that dabbing some lip balm on top really helps. But this doesn’t crack, or peel, like some formulas can do! Not to mention, I am just loving this color right now. I think it is perfect for fall, but is also wearable for any season!
