A New Subscription Unboxing!

Hi everyone! It has been a very long time since my last post, and I am so sorry for that! Before I dive into the new subscription box I am trying out, I want to mention that I have cancelled two of my previous subscription services. I decided to cancel Ipsy and Boxycharm because quite honestly I just felt like I was getting the same type of items over and over again and I wasn’t using half of the products I received. Once I cancelled, I thought “Oh, great, theres an extra $30 I’ll have each month”. AND THEN, I found this new subscription box, and of course, I caved. So let’s find out which one I’m talking about!

The Play! by Sephora box is $10 a month and you receive 5-6 items that can be found at Sephora. To check it out click HERE (p.s. it’s not a referral link, just wanted to share it for you!). That’s the first thing that intrigued me, because if you find something you love, you know where to get it. Unlike Ipsy or Boxycharm, sometimes you get brands you’ve never heard of and are hard to find. There is a waitlist with this box, but it didn’t take me too long before I was off of it! So far, I received just one box for the month of May, and want to show you wha type of products I got!

The box itself is super cute and has the typical black and white stripes of Sephora. When I opened the box, this is what I saw…a cute little bag inside!

Origins skin-optimizing mask primer – This came with the little spray bottle of the primer, and then two on-time-use masks to try it with! I haven’t tried this yet, but am curious to see how it makes my masks feel different!

Korres wild rose + vitamin C advanced brightening sleeping facial – This is another one that I haven’t used yet, but it smells so good! I can’t wait to try this out!

Tarte tarteist lip crayon in “Latergram” – this a very pretty neutral, nude-pink shade. It goes on very easily and is a great color to go with a lot of my lipstick shades!

Bite Beauty amuse bouche lipstick in “Kimchi” – I had been hearing a lot about these lipsticks, and was excited to see that I got one! The color is not something I would wear everyday, but as for the lipstick itself, it feels very creamy and nice on my lips, and has pretty decent lasting power as well!

Atelier orange sanguine cologne absolute pure perfume – I don’t really love perfume samples that come in this little bottle with no sprayer. But thats ok, they are good for the purse, and it allows you try out a scent. This is a very nice citrusy scent that is perfect for summer! So far, I’m liking it!

Briogeo Don’t despair, repair! deep conditioning mask – This is another one I have not tried yet, but I am curious to see how it works. I have very dry, frizzy hair, so I’m hoping this has good outcomes!

For my first month, I was pretty happy with the products I received! Some I’ve tried, and some I haven’t, but will be trying very soon!

I hope you enjoyed seeing this, and again, if you want to check this box out for yourself, click HERE.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

February Boxycharm!

Happy Monday everyone! Today I am sharing what was in my February Boxycharm! This item is exciting, because instead of the usual 5 items, there were 6…bonus! The theme this month is “Rush to Relax”. The card says: “From stilettos to slippers, get ready to work hard and rest easy!”. I think this is a cute theme, and these items are all great for relaxation!

If you are new to Boxycharm, it is a monthly subscription box that sends you 4-5 full size beauty related products for just $21/month! Click HERE to check it out for yourself!

Now let’s jump on in and see what we got!

4) Spongelle You Have My Heart on a String – Full size – $15

5) SHRAY Ms. Amazing Facial Mask – Full size – $12

Overall, this looks like a pretty fun box! I love that most of these are geared toward pampering (which is the whole point of the them, right?). The mask and the exfoliator sponge look great for a pamper session. I also really love the scent of the perfume for spring! And the blush/glow stick is so pretty and fun!

Let me know what you thought of this month’s box!
