RD Syle Kellen Split Hem Knit Tee: $44

This was the first item in box, and I really wanted to love it! I love the concept of the split hem, and of course I love a good gray, casual tee. But this was just way too long on me. Had it been just a little shorter in both front and back, I think I would have loved it! But I felt like I was wearing a potato sack! 😦

Verdict: Returned

Alice Blue Michaela Distressed Detail Sweater – $58

This was the next item in the box. It is a very cute and nice fitting sweater with distressed details. I really like this, but as I was trying it on, I felt like every distressed area was going to rip. I could see this snagging easily, and that worries me. Other than that, this is really a cute and unique sweater!

Verdict: Returned

Nakamol Palmetto Fringed Beaded Collar Necklace – $58:

This was the next item and I could not contain my excitement as I opened the package! I had actually pinned this necklace on Pinterest a while back, and never dreamed I would actually get it! This is kind of pricey for a necklace, but it is one of those unique pieces that I know I will get a lot of use out of!

Verdict: Kept

Level 99 Rena Sueded Skinny Pant – $114:

I have mixed feelings about these pants. When I pulled them out of the box, my first thought was “um, NO”. But then I tried them on, and kind of loved the way they fit. They feel like butter on and fit me so perfectly. But I’m not crazy about the the suede or the color. Maybe if they had been a darker color I would have liked them more. I really can’t justify paying so much money for something I don’t completely love.

Verdict: Returned

RD Style Meredith Faux Leather Elbow Patch Cardigan – $68:

Absolutely in love with this! I had asked for something with elbow patches, and this was more than I expected! I am all about cozy cardigans for fall, and I tend to lean toward browns/neutral clothing. So I really glad to have something a little different for me! This fits great and I love the faux leather elbow patches! I think this will be great for fall and winter!

Verdict: Kept

The total of my box $342. If I had kept all 5 items, the total would have been $236.50 after the 25% discount.

Also, don’t forget that if you keep even one item, you get $20 off, which is from the styling fee!

Thank you for checking out this post! Let me know if you have any thoughts or questions about Stitch Fix!

Love that split hem tee – such a classic piece for layering! But yeah, it’s quite long on your torso – too bad.
The elbow patch cardigan is such a nice update to the elbow patch blazer – much cozier!
The statement necklace is beautiful! You’ll get so much use out of this, it’ll dress up any outfit. 🙂

I totally understand your feelings about the split hem tee, plus the price of something that physically seems like “just a t-shirt” is frustrating! I think that the Alice sweater, while it might snag, I thought sizing down on it one with a layered cami would look fabulous. I’m intrigued! I LOVE the necklace, I think you saw my Unveiling #3 where I got the Romolo fringe necklace – love yours, too!!!

I can also appreciate your love of the faux leather cardigan, I love faux leather accents!!!!
